The Call of Duty Mobile release date is approaching, and now you can start to get hyped about the Call of Duty Mobile beta that will allow you to try out the free Call of Duty game that is coming to the iPhone, iPad and Android.

The Call of Duty Mobile beta starts this week in India. The beta will continue a rollout into Australia soon after. From there it will come to other regions, including at some point the U.S. and North America.
Unfortunately, Activation doesn’t share any further information about the Call of Duty Mobile beta release date in the U.S., but you can prepare yourself for the beta right now.
Sign Up for the Call of Duty Mobile Beta
While you don’t have a specific release date in the U.S., you can sign up for the Call of Duty Mobile beta so that you are sure to get in as soon as they open it up. You can sign up on the Call of Duty website or direct in Google Play. We expect to see a pre-register option on the App Store soon.
To register, you need to share your email, create a password, pick a region and enter your birthday. We’ll let you know if there is any way to sign up for the beta in another region for early access.
What is Call of Duty Mobile?
Call of Duty Mobile is a free to play Call of Duty game for the iPhone, iPad and Android which combines the multiple Call of Duty worlds into one online multiplayer experience. This includes parts of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as well as others.
This is an online game with a variety of game modes that you are used to in traditional call of duty games. You can connect with friends using in game text and chat. Activation offers simple and advanced controls, but there is no mention of controller support.
You’ll get a variety of loadouts, scorestreaks and players to choose from. This is not a battle royale game like Fortnite Battle Royale or PUBG Mobile.
Call of Duty Mobile Device Compatibility
You can play the Call of Duty Mobile beta on high end devices, but Activision is working to bring it to many different devices.
Activation says that they are, “working every day both to optimize the game for high-end phones and to make it broadly accessible for as many other devices as well.” They don’t specify which devices this will and won’t work for, but you can expect that it will run on the latest iPhones, iPads and Android devices without problems.

It will get less likely on older phones and on devices like the Amazon Fire 7 tablet, which doesn’t have Google Play.

We know a lot about the Call of Duty Mobile maps and a little bit about the modes that you will get to play. This is exciting for players that remember playing classic Call of Duty maps like Nuke town, since they will now be able to play on their phone or tablet.
